Experience
Born and raised in Huntington, Chris Weed obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Minor in European History at Marshall University. After graduating, Chris was a 6th Grade History Teacher at Milton Middle School for nearly two years. In 2017, he enrolled at West Virginia University Law School and received his Juris Doctorate degree in May of 2020. During his time in law school, Chris was an active oral advocate. In the spring of 2019, he was a Finalist in the Baker Cup Competition and argued in front of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. He also received the honors of “Best Brief” in the 2019 National Moot Court Competition. Chris was elected President of the Lugar Trial Association, and went on to win the Lugar Cup shortly before graduating.
